Bertha Edmiston Gilson Florida, Kentucky, and Missouri are the first states that will require drug testing when applying for welfare. Some people are crying and calling this unconstitutional. How is this unconstitutional? it's OK to drug test people who work for their money, but not for those who don't? Re-post this if you'd like to see this done in all 50 states! I just did.

Leslie Lc Wright Sometimes I am so confused about Nigeria. The people of Nigeria have so much pride and are happy to let you know who they are and where they hail from! However when the govenment does something like removing oil subsidies basically deregulating the oil trade it leads me to ask many questions like, why? Why cheapen the most valuable asset in your country? Who is benefiting from this? Clearly not the people of Nigeria but I guess if the govenment really cared about the people of Nigeria as they claim to then many things that are would not be. Someone at the top is clearly getting something but hasn't that always been the case in Nigeria where the guys at the top get everything and the people at the bottom beg just for scraps. How is it that this country has the most degreed people in America ( according to this article http://www.chron.com/news/article/Data-show-Nigerians-the-most-educated-in-the-U-S-1600808.php) and I am pretty sure the same goes for around the world sense the work ethic and teaching would be the same, but no one wants to go back bc it is badly polluted, the police there are corrupt (wanting money at every stop point), there are no jobs, DID I MENTION NO JOBS unless you know someone, the government has no incentives for people to come back, everyone gets education from abroad bc no one outside Nigeria (i guess) accpets the degrees bc you can get an "A" if you know the right people. I could go on, and on. The people that have money, they are well traveled, going to all the hot spots around the world, London, Dubai, the States ect buying . I wonder why they like going to these places hmmm could it be because these destinations, have clean air (for the most part), organized, clean, you don't get harrassed at will, a sound education and governmet system, quality products ect. I am sure all those things and more play a part in it. So why wouldn't the government of Nigeria not want their own country to be a place where tourist can come to and kick their heels up. Nigeria has beautiful beaches, lots of lush green tropical land, tons of potential to be much more but what good is potential if it is never reached. Sometimes I think people feel that this is a hopeless cause bc there are so many things in Nigeria that need to be done. Sorry for the rant but this decision that has been made just has me puzzled as to why Nigeria is putting itself in this position. I have not been to Nigeria in a while so if for any reason you feel anything I am saying is not the truth feel free to correct me. Although I don't feel I am off by too much considering my dad goes there often and brings back reports of whats happening there.

For Woodlands resident David Olowokere, one of Nigeria's sons, having a master's degree in engineering just wasn't enough for his people back home. Nigerian immigrants have the highest levels of education in this city and the nation, surpassing whites and Asians, according to Census data bolstered ...
