Dear whatever misinformed assholes at WWL that keep reporting false news about Tom Buell:
1. If this man did anything even close to criminal he would be in prison like Eddie Price.
2. The Citizen's Service Fund that he used 28% of for Toys for tots is a complete different fund all in itself. This fund allowed citizens of Mandeville to donate money for Tom Buell to spend on the community where he felt it was most needed. Why? Because he was and is that trustworthy. So this 28% was additional money that was used on needy families! So depending on the amount of needy families the toys for tots fund was used and if more people still needed toys or food for Christmas he would take money from the citizens service fund.
3. If he misused any money for personal gain don't u think we would have lived a more lavish lifestyle? I grew up in a trailer, my mom drove a school bus, and our family vehicle was a Ford pick up truck. Come on people!
4. He didn't resign BC of the state audit. He RETIRED due to poor health and anyone who knows him was not surprised he left. His doctors had been telling him for 10+ years to retire before he did!
