आज बऱ्याच दिवसांनी बोलताना, शब्द सापडत नव्हते
कारण ही तसं विशेष होतं, खूप दिवसांनी तिला पाहिले होते
एरवी बडबडणार मन, आज आतूनच लाजत होत
तिच्या कडून येणाऱ्या उत्तराची, आतुरतेने वाट पाहत होत
धाडस करून बोलणार, तितक्यातच.. ती थांबून म्हणाली
तू पुस्तकातून दिलेली ती चिठ्ठी, बाबांच्या हाती लागली
आवंढा गिळत हळूच, तिचा भाजलेला हात पहिला
तिला केलेल्या शिक्षेचा वनवास, तिने एकटीनेच भोगला
वाटल नव्हत तेव्हा... असं काही होईल
मनातलं तिला सांगे पर्यंत, तिला मागण येईल
डोळे तिचे सुजले होते, सतत शून्यात पाहत होते
गेले कित्येक दिवस तिने, रडून काढले होते
उशीर का केलास मनातलं सांगायला , माझा होकार कधीचाच होता
तुझ्या विचारण्याची वाट पाहत, जीव टांगणीला लागला होता
हात तिचा भाजला होता, बाबांनी जाळलेली माझी चिठ्ठी वाचवताना
कडा अलगद ओलावली डोळ्यांची, हकीकत सारी ऐकताना
हात तिचा हातात घेत,हळूच जखमेवर फुंकर मारली
धुरकट पाणावलेल्या डोळ्यातून, पुन्हा एकवार ती दिसली
क्षणभर थोडंस थांबून, मनातल्या सारीपाटाचा डाव अस्तित्वात आणला
तिच्या सोबत मंदिरात जाऊन, ईश्वर साक्षीने नवा खेळ मांडला
वाईट तिच्या आई बाबांचं वाटलं
त्यांनी ही नंतर स्वीकारलं
तो व्रण नाही गेला तिच्या हातावरचा पण....
त्यानेच खऱ्या प्रेमाचं अर्थ समजावलं
