CBS news ran a story about the "Stock act " bill. This new law would make it illegal for members of congress and their STAFFs to use INSIDER info to buy and sell stocks.
Turns out that congress has a pretty good pipeline of stock tips. NO SHIT! Also turns out that members of congress and their worker bees have been able to use this privileged info to....anyone? TRADE STOCKS. Any guesses on what would happen to you and me if we did exactly what they are doing? That's right we'd be learning all about new same sex dating rituals. Does the term catcher mean anything to you? JFC! I have researched this and can not find out how long they have been able to do this, but it goes back to at least the Bush admin.

Julie Crawford Morning everyone. I am so not ready for today. There is a 2nd service for my grandpa, why it could not all have been done at once I don't know. Yesterday my mom and aunt got into it, about who should have grandpas flag. She made some nasty coments. I have a big mouth, if I were to hear those things said to my mom or dad or anything else I won't be able to hold my thoughts in. I don't want to to turn out badly but if she get nasty i have no problem telling her where to go in not so nice terms. I think now that grandpa is gone the family will fall apart

Cassie Smith MIke Sherman was working Thursday night to put Texas A&M's disappointing season behind, making an in-house visit to Klein Forest four-star recruit Matt Davis, when he learned he won't be around for the Aggies' Southeastern Conference debut next season.
Sherman, 55, was relieved of his duties immediately, meaning he won't even be around for the Aggies' bowl game this month.
