Becky Lipford Mathis This has been a very long, hard week for me and my family and our neighbors. First, I would like to say thank you to all my fb family and friends for prayer, phone calls, encouragement. I don't think I said that Colby was the second one on the scene of the fire. He was gonna go in and get the dog but as he approached the door, it was too hot and he kept my friend and neighbor from going in after her dog, Carly. I am so proud of Colby for doing the right thing. I am thankful he wasn't burnt. His major in college is criminal justice. He was accepted into the Honors fraternity and also the Criminal justice fraternity. He is a candidate for a internship with the FBI. We are so proud of him. He also does volunteer work for his church and works a part time job. I know it may sound like I am bragging on him and I am. So many times we don't recognize what the good things are our kids do. So just want him to know how much we love him and we are proud of him. Please continue to pray for Colton, it's so hard to watch him suffer and in pain. Wish I could take it for him.... Everyone have a blessed week!!!!
